Peter Q. Gary
Peter Q. Gary is a senior member for the Department of the Army Staff. During his 15 year Federal career he has conducted Army-wide surveys and assessments across its civilian workforce to identify behavior patterns, perceptions, and other indicators that affect the development and/or reflect the results of policy development and execution. His projects represent highly complex and often politically sensitive topics for Army where he is recognized as an expert on problem identification, process consultation, business metrics, measurement of workplace behavior, and statistical analysis to provide custom, client-centered solutions. The impact of his analysis and research affect upwards of 300,000 Department of the Army Civilians and the Soldiers and Families they support at its installations world-wide.
In Peter Q. Gary’s early Federal career he lead a large team of diverse individuals of various professional disciplines to support total Army Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation Programs, served as a Temporary Federal Police Officer for the National Institutes of Health where he wrote SOPs for its newly established security team to augment its law enforcement officers, and served as an Infantry Marine for the United States Marine Corps and was part of its Presidential Support Program. He is a decorated DA civilian, member of the armed forces and most notably a “Citizen Hero” awarded by the Alexandria, Virginia Fire Department
